Everything Happens For A Reason

Everything happens for a reason
Be sure of this fact and in this very act
Your mind is free to soar in the sky
beyond the stars to a land of treasures
Where merry spirits find peaceful play
Where weary weathers never stay
And destinations have no ends
The journey is the life my friends
Everything happens for a reason
So have no regret etched in your heart
Because the past, was but, just the start.
Find this land of golden clouds
Full of silver linings. Gently now we tread.
Tapestry of life, enjoying every thread.
Living out your life, to the fullest bloom
Come soon, to a land of no regrets
Where everything happens for a reason.

As I get older, this seems to be more of a truth than not. Eden

This is great...everything happens for a reason...something I believe in now..well written and so positive! : )

At least we are urged to search for reasons and should try to find advice for future acting. Your poem makes me feel easy and light!

Eden, It is a sort of self fulfilling philosophy. Pleased you enjoyed it.:)

Louise, I'm glad you found the treasured land :)

Martin, You have grasped the sentiment perfectly - If one believes that it is for a reason, then one is forced to look for a valid reason that can benefit you, therefore by definition: Everything is for a reason. Life is just one big lesson. I am glad you feel "easy and light" :)

I might add - The above explanation is to defend the statement in a logical language and as you know it cannot convey a natural language's depths, hence the poem, which says so much more than the logical rationalisation of the poem.

=) Thank you, I needed THIS great read dear friend!! I keep trying to tell myself this, so I can feel exactly that every day! ~April
