Iliterate Poet

A dumping ground for my works in progress.

Volcano

Silicon valley in the sky
Glass raining down
Raging Tower inferno
Erupting Mantel
Plates are shifting
Echoes in the Hallow
Vibrations from within
Reeking havoc in its wake
Tower starting to shake
We needn't worry about this one.
It's big brother could be woken.
And mark my words that are spoken
If that one blows We're all in strife
Could turn out A very short life.
“Nature never did betray, the heart that loved her”
Earth is extremely angry
With what we have done
Hope we don’t hear
its full Fiery cries
A scream that could burn
Magnificent Magna Pouring through the Chamber
Bursting into daylight
Lava you become
Spewing your ash throughout your land
Showing your distain
Worlds had enough of playing our game.
We wish you piece Eyjafjallajokull
Rest gentle now Katla
Sleep for thousand years.
Byron implied when mount Tambora cried
Darkness falling from the light
It was the ash and not the night
The Biblical story did then fail
False prediction but fair in its tale
More a lesson to protect the pale
Light of life, life of nature, nature creator
Devine insight, trying to explain with words so blunt
Hidden message that’s good for the world
Gifts for your soul
Read between the lines
Extract what you need
Marvellous, moral discourse,
Its mine and yours! A common cause
The binding clause, a pale white horse.
